What To Expect.
1. Get in Touch
Call our clinic or complete our online intake form. Our friendly admin team will contact you to answer questions, understand your needs, and book the right appointment with the right clinician.
2. Initial Appointment
Your Psychologist meets with parents/caregivers to learn about your child’s strengths, challenges, and goals. Depending on your child’s age and needs, your child may also attend the first session.
3. Therapy
Your Psychologist delivers an individualised therapy plan using evidence-based, neuro-affirming approaches tailored to your child.
Sessions may include:
Child-focused therapy (play-based, CBT-informed, regulation strategies)
Parent coaching and practical home strategies
Collaboration with schools and other professionals
We focus on building trust, supporting autonomy, and empowering families.
4. Assessment (If Needed)
Where appropriate, your Psychologist may recommend assessment to better understand your child’s needs. This may include observations, interviews, questionnaires, and standardised tools, completed across one or more sessions.
5. Feedback & Goal Setting
We meet with you to discuss findings, strengths, and recommendations. Together, we set meaningful goals and provide a written report to guide ongoing support.
We offer block-based therapy for our NDIS clients, designed to provide more focused and meaningful support for each child. Therapy is delivered in structured blocks across the school term, followed by a review and planning period during the holidays to assess progress and set next steps. This approach allows our team to deliver more targeted, goal-focused therapy that adapts to your child’s evolving needs.
Our clinic proudly supports families looking for a paediatric Psychologist in Noosaville, and across the Sunshine Coast.
